Once it rained and the plug got wet, the glue holding the whiskers onto the foam came deteriorated and they came off. So we were left with a block of foam stuck in the base anchor. You are much better off buying the rubber base pugs with the whiskers and loop.
Works as intended
Our Sports Complex uses over 100 Base plugs per year and the Champro Base plug gives us the best bang for our buck good Quality and great price.
These lose their tassels pretty easily and I usually have to find them and glue them back in. Even then, they don't last all that long and are expensive to function so poorly.
