Have very thin skin do to a heart condition and needed to protect my forearms from errant foul or missed balls while behind the plate. These guards are light weight and just the right size to protect the forearms

The sleeves are a little big. It is my sons first year at football and I guess he will get maybe 2 seasons out of them. No complaints from the little man and he is having a blast.
